It’s really cool music, very vibrant and youthful. This will be a fun design.
So my friend tried to get her first tattoo yesterday, but ended up not being able to get what she wanted for the price she wanted… so I just did some henna on her instead. haha
The illustration is based off of someone else’s design, but I just simplified it and tried to do henna for the first time. I don’t think it ended up too bad… I definitely could’ve done better if I practiced more though, or if I had some other tool to use besides a squeeze tube of henna. lol
This is just a small temporary art update until my classes are over for the semester, and then I’ll upload some sketches of the mural I plan on doing this summer!
It’s been a while guys! (:
Here is my design for an up and coming Electronic Dance Music Producer, Bryce Casper’s “What’s Your Sound?” EP. I created the vines and circuits by hand traditionally with pencil and Prismacolor Marker/Ink Pens with various tips, then scanned it into Adobe Illustrator and used Photoshop as well. This was the final result of those sneak peeks I gave you a while back, haha.
Keep your eyes opened for Bryce Casper because he is really talented and is sure to go places! The album will be released in Spring of 2013, stay tuned!
Sorry it took so long to finally post this, but we agreed to keep it under lock until closer to the release date of his actual EP (he was having difficulties finding a good vocalist to record the tracks with). But, on the bright side, I have more good news and artwork coming for you guys soon! (;

@judiitran likes to take pics
Indeed I do. I need to invest in a real camera. I’m tired of taking phone pics and not being able to control exposure and such as much as I’d like before editing.
#starbucks. Check. #Cigs. Check. #music. Check. Up early to do in the #inking process today (: Finally finished le sketch yesterday. #prismacolor #art #drawing #design #coffee (Taken with Instagram)
Just a sneak peek at the design I’m working on for someone’s EP. I won’t show anything else until I’m completely done! (:
I still have so much to do, gotta ink it up, scan it in, and then vector everything and start the Illustrator & Photoshop work. I still haven’t even gotten around to picking definite typefaces yet. Lotsa work, so little time. I’ve been at the library the past couple of days, working hard at a desk (better work environment than a couch or bed at home) and there’s better natural lighting, gotta love it. So I’ve been at this library whenever I’m not at work, and I have to work later today, but I have the day off tomorrow so I’ll be at the library all day tomorrow, too.
It is… le crunch time. August 10th deadline. Oh, how I’ve missed deadlines, they actually help me finish my stuff.
current tunes: “Searchlights” - Falling Up
I had a client contact me recently about designing his EP cover.
I’m excited to start on it.
I know I’ve been busy. But I just needed motivation to create something.
And now I have this project, AND A DEADLINE.
Deadlines are how I get shit done.
So.
I will keep you updated on my process as I go.
And this time, I PROMISE to actually post pics and such.
So, fingers crossed, wish me luck!
this new art piece idea.
It involves Chicago.
And lights.
And I’m super excited to start it and figure out the colors and everything.
I kind of started sketching, but I’m still figuring out the elements and stuff.
I’ll keep ya’ll updated.
And I started spray painting my nightstand that I got on Craigslist. I’m getting really addicted to that site now a days. haha
But, good things have come out of it, like cheap and pretty furniture (just needs refurbishing :P), kittens, and stuff.
I will be starting to decorate this room soon and painting my furniture, etc.
I will definitely post pics (:
This was a painting I made for a scholarship contest for the Pasta House my senior year in High School (:
I WON! I was so happy! haha You can click to see a larger version of both images.
It’s based off of “Blind Man’s Bluff” by Jean Honore Fragonard, and I just made my own version and the requirements were that I had to incorporate Pasta House into it somehow.
Can you tell what I changed/added? haha
The original is like a million times better, but I hope I did it justice!
My rendition was created with acrylic paints on canvas board. I had to rush towards the end to meet the deadline, so the pasta and bread in the corner are really ugly and there’s quite a bit that is unfinished but hopefully it’s not too noticeable… Lol
